Inspiration
Mandalas have been a part of my art journey since I can remember. But it was not until Gr10 that I drew my first mandala for an art project. On this page I want to show how my style has evolved over the years, and how I have grown as an artist.
Grade 10

This was my first formal artwork that I created in Grade 10. The brief instructed us to illustrate the four seasons using a mandala. For this artwork I used acrylic paint, watercolour pencils and fine liners.

This was my Grade 11 artwork. I cannot remember what the brief was about but I do remember the controversy about the skull in this artwork. In this artwork I used watercolour paint, coloured glitter and fine liners.
Grade 12

This was my final art project for matric. The project brief detailed that we had to represent the Fuana and Flora of South Africa in any art making technique that we wanted. For this artwork I used watercolor paint, watercolour pencils and fine liners. There is also glitter added for extra detail throughout the design.
My front door

This painting was created in 2019. I got bored with the plan doors when I moved into my flat. I decided to brighten up the place and paint my frontdoor. FOr this painting I used acrylic paint and ALOT of fine liners and other markers
